Daily Sessions are 90 minutes each, you may take as many rides as time allows & weather permitting. Groups of 30 or more please contact us in advance for reservations & discounts.

Scenic Lift Rides

Sugar Pine Chair Lift (chair 1) ferries riders from our parking lot to the Top of the Notch Restaurant. It gives access to miles of hiking trails including the popular route across Devils Backbone to the summit of Mt San Antonio (Mt Baldy). The ride is approximately 17 minutes and travels a distance of 1 mile.

The Top of The Notch

The Top of the Notch Restaurant is a full service restaurant with sweeping views of the LA basin located at 7800′ above sea level in the San Gabriel Mountains. Visitors reach the restaurant by hiking, or via the Sugarpine chairlift. The restaurant operates seven days a week during the ski season, and on weekends once winter operations have concluded. The Notch serves casual American food, in a beautiful alpine environment.

Zip Lines Mt Baldy, CA

Zip Lines

This coming summer, Mt Baldy will be adding a Zip Line Ride to the many other activities to take part in on the mountain. Come race your friends & family from Desert View back to the Top of the Notch down 4 side by side lines.

Hiking

Why hike there and back when you can make it a loop. The Sugar Pine Chair Lift ferries hikers from our parking lot at the end of Mt Baldy Road to the top of the San Antonio Canyon accessing loop hikes through the Cucamonga and Sheep Mountain Wilderness areas. Purchase a Hikers Package for a one way lift ride and a meal at the Top of the Notch restaurant.

Disc Golfing

We have a new course design for 2016 and we are pumped on it. Tee off from the Notch and make your way down the 18 hole course to the bottom of Thunder Mountain. Our new course offers an inviting layout for Disc Golf newbies as well as some extremely rewarding tee shoots for those experienced disc throwers. Purchase a Disc Golfer’s Punch Card.
