August 12 @ 5:00 pm - 11:59 pm
The Orange County Jam Band Society is elated to bring you Jerry Daze II at the Top of the Notch located in Mt Baldy. Last August some of Southern California’s best Jam Bands hosted such a wonderful celebration of the life of Jerry Garcia that an encore for 2017 was a no-brainer.

1 Day Event Guests:
Are permitted to bring a day pack that you will carry on the lift with you. You should dress comfortably for the mountains, wear sturdy shoes and bring a container for water, sunscreen, sun glasses and something to wear if it gets cold. Don’t forget your wallet, the Top of the Notch restaurant takes cash and credit and serves great food and has a nice selection of micro brews and wine.
Whether you’re staying in a tent cabin or dispersed camping, you should pack light. In both cases you are allowed only a limited amount of gear that will be loaded on the chair lift behind you. That amount is what will fit into a 27 gallon storage container (approximately 20″x30″x14″). You are also allowed to bring a carry on bag that should have a flashlight or headlamp, container for water, sunscreen, sun glasses and something to wear if it gets cold. Don’t forget your wallet, the Top of the Notch restaurant takes cash and credit and serves great food and has a nice selection of micro brews and wine.
Friday – Music starts outside on 2 stages at 2pm before moving inside to finish up the night
Saturday – Music starts at noon before heading inside for our headliner followed up with some late night jams for the overnight campers. Lift shuts off at midnight.
Tent Cabin Guests:
You need to bring a sleeping bag or blanket THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Your stay includes a meal plan so no need to bring food, unless it’s something small you want to snack on. You are permitted to bring a cooler however it must fit into your allowable amount of gear and it is subject to a search.
If you are dispersed camping you should be experienced and have the proper camping gear. That is basically what you would bring if you were backpacking overnight i.e… tent, sleeping bag and pad. All of your gear cannot exceed the allowable amount of gear on the chair lift. We suggest adding a meal plan, but you can also buy meals as needed.
There are not. However, you must be at least 40″ tall to ride the chair lift. If you want to bring anyone under that height, you will need to hike up the trail (about 3 mi) with them.
There are 2 ways to get to the event. Ride the chair lift or hike. The hike is about 3 miles and the chair lift is a one mile ride (15 to 20 minutes) up to the Top of the Notch restaurant. Parking is in the Mt Baldy Ski Lifts lot. The fee for parking is $5 for day use and $20 for overnight
We’ll start with what you can not bring. NO COOLERS, NO WEAPONS, FIRE ARMS, FIRE WORKS, DRUGS OR ALCOHOL. All bags are subject to a search. Please make this an enjoyable event for years to come and be smart and responsible.
We will grant refunds up to 7 days before the event for any reason. After that time, there are NO REFUNDS, CREDITS or CHANGES.
Cell service and wifi are basically nonexistent on the mountain. It’s a good idea to bring a printed copy of your ticket with you.
